What you need to Stencil

  1. Wall Stencil.

  2. Paint. (Latex paint in a flat or eggshell finish. You don’t need a lot of paint. (For example a 7’ by 7’ wall uses approximately 1 and a half cans of sample size paint).

  3. Dense 4” foam roller.

  4. Stencil Brush. (For when you get to the corners of your walls. I recommend 5/8” or 3/4” diameter brush head size).

  5. Paint tray for your 4” dense foam roller.

  6. 2” Wide painters tape.

  7. Level or a laser level. (To ensure your stencil is straight).

  8. Pencil.

  9. Repositionable spray adhesive.

  10. Disposable 8-10” plate.

  11. Paper towels.

  12. Small touch up brush. (If you feel the need to touch up some areas of your stencil).

  13. Optional. Motsenbocker’s Lift off latex paint, if you need to clean your stencil.
